Mr. Hammill is an associate attorney in our Ontario office. He has been practicing as an associate, partner and managing attorney in the area of workers compensation defense since 1993.  In recent years Mr. Hammill has represented school districts and self- insured private employers in the defense of their claims. He brings a unique understanding of the economic considerations that both public and private employers must weigh in the handling of their claims and has successfully assisted in reducing his clients' claim frequency and costs.

Mr. Hammill has also been active in legislative issues affecting workers’ compensation, serving on the Government Relations committee of the California Coalition on Workers’ Compensation as well as advising elected officials and candidates. Mr. Hammill also serves as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Claremont, California and was appointed by the City Council to a second four year term in July, 2010.

Mr. Hammill and his wife are the cofounders of Katie's Hope Fund at Foothill Family Shelter in Upland California. Katie's Hope Fund, founded in memory of their daughter Katie, provides educational scholarships and medical assistance to the Shelter's clients.
