AREAS OF PRACTICE: Workers’ Compensation, subrogation, representing employers in 132a and Serious and Willful claims, and civil litigation; with additional experience in administrative law representing plaintiffs/petitioners against Contractors Board; before the Azusa City Council, business litigation, and in municipal contract’s proceedings. He has five years of practice before the Federal bankruptcy Court of the 9th District, Central District of California.
Mr. Javaneau has over 21 years of legal experience with extensive experience representing employers and insurers in Workers’ Compensation and related fields. He has prevailed in all five of his Workers’ Compensation appellate cases and has had successful outcomes in other Civil appellate venues. In addition to the above legal experience, Mr. Javaneau has over fifteen years in aerospace sales and marketing to major aerospace and electronic manufactures; resulting in defense contracts being awarded to a small business he represented with Hughes Aircraft and other major aerospace firms. He has been recognized for his contribution in community affairs through his participation in the municipal planning in the City of Duarte as a member of a community advisory group; participation as a judge in the American Legion public speakers program pertaining to Constitutional issues; and his involvement in various state issues and the recent political campaign. Additionally, Mr. Javaneau has made seminar presentations to the American Legion and the Rotary Club on business/employment law and Workers’ Compensation. He has visited over 20 countries and has lived in France, Germany and the Netherlands. In his spare time he enjoys studying history and comparative legal systems, and spending time with his family.
